Wisdom & Insight
Proverbs 4: 7 “The beginning of Wisdom is this: get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.”
Proverbs 4: 20-21 “My child, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them in within your heart.”
The above scriptures are saying that if you seek God for his wisdom, by praying for his guidance for your daily living, keep his words on your heart and in the forefront of your mind, then God will bless you with his insight. And for me to feel his insight I feel his presence.
As Christians, we all feel God’s presence in different ways. For me, I describe God’s presence in my life as being “strangely warmed.”
When I feel his touch on my shoulder from behind…. I’m strangely warmed and comforted knowing he will be there to hold me up if I fall.
When I feel him gently take my elbow and tug me sideways….I’m strangely warmed and comforted knowing he is right beside me going through the good and the bad with me.
And I’m strangely warmed and comforted when I gaze forward and feel him in front of me, leading and guiding my path. If I keep my eyes straight on him, I won’t get off the path he has for my life.
How do you feel Gods presence in your life?
